Another year wiser? Who knows, the year in surfing has been an interesting one to say the least, Kelly Slater got his 11th world title, which is no massive surprise, it's what happened under him that was interesting, the Gabriel Medina's, Owen Wright's and Julian Wilson's just to name a few, that took the veteran top ten front runner's by the scruff of the neck and gave a massive sub conscious warning that they are about to turn the WT on it's head and it will never be the same again! Exciting times no doubt and a subject i will be all over like a rash next year!

Hey crew just a little hit to let you all know the Hawaiian season is now in full swing! Here i have some footage of the Halewia pro that was held last week courtesy of surfersvillagetv.com. Taj Burrow had a win over our own Adam Melling, it was a great Result for Melling who was in need of a few points after a shaky year on tour! Sunset is now on and the surfers are into the round of 64 with Mitch Coleborn showing some form in the massive Sunset right handers! Hot as hell today where i am in QLD definitely not complaining, the sun's out and we are ready to roll into the silly season! Slater has got another title and there is only pipe to go so rather than analyse something that we have a fair idea of where it's headed, how bout i show you guys a little video of Stuey Kennedy riding his shaper Al Emery's boards, it's good old fashion rail to rail with a bit of flair thrown in to keep the new school frothing.

In fun conditions on San Francisco's ocean beach, Kelly Slater has won his 11th world title in the 3rd round against Aussie Daniel Ross in what was a great heat, that Kelly was pushed and beaten until the final minutes. It's capped pf a great year for Slater, in which by this stage we all new he was going to do it, but seeing it happen is still special and unbelievable all at the same time.

The Quiksilver Pro in France is over for another year. The surfing world however, may never be the same! The dominance of Owen Wright and Kelly Slater in the last three contests was put on hold, for now, there run was stopped in round 5 and the quarters respectively. The final this time consisted of TWS buddy Julian Wilson and Brazilian Super Grom Gabriel Medina!
