Matt Biolos began shaping surfboards at Herbie Fletcher Surf Shop fresh out of high school in 1987. He made his first surfboard at this time and called it a "Ratz Ass" like in "I don't give a .....". His second surfboard was labeled "Mayhem" named after his high school punk band- obviously not taking things very seriously. This name, for better or for worse, stuck. Matt shaped 20 boards the first year.

Surfboard Art on tradewindsurf.com

Check this out crew, just sold a board to Scott in WA he was really fancying some of the lost art he had seen and gave us a call to see what we could do!

We were able to help Scott out and make the idea of his board with a sick graphic on it come to life, he had some of Drew Brophy's art in mind and sent me through a pic of the sort of thing he was chasing!
