A young bloke named Patty ordered 3 Lee Cheynes from TradewindSurf before he headed to Indo this past week to try and score some early perfection on the islands around Lakey Peak.

We were stoked when we recieved an email form Pat showing us the waves he was getting and letting us know how stoked he is with his new crafts.

Patty wanna send a few of those waves our way?

Just came off a 5 Day bender on the Goldy, in which time i managed to pass out in The TWS van twice, throw down on the Black Jack table, showed some Canadians how to rip in on Aussie day, and sold some surfing products in between, trust me i needed to after a couple of trips to the cas! All worth it though, no matter where your reading from get down the Goldy and have a bender as soon as you can!

Sittin at an internet cafe at the Gold Coast, pubs over flowing nearby, teenagers running a muck for the sake of it, If i could go home i would, but when i get home i want to come back, there is something bitter sweet about this place you lose your mind with a sniff of the north end [Surfers], yet the South end can make you feel like you are playing in the world's biggest wave pool........

Portugal, Spain, the end

posted by sedz on Sun 07.09.2008

I arrived home the other day. I truly wanted to come home. I was over it. We were all over it. But now that I'm back, back home, back to reality, i've got the feeling that very soon ill be off again. Even if it's not overseas, ill need something. Something to brake the routine. Thats the reason we want to travel, we need to do things differently, we need to be able to go to bed at night not having any idea what is going to happen the next day. To have no plans and nothing that we are obliged to do. But now its over, we are back, and its time to reflect.

Holga's are really cool

posted by sedz on Mon 21.07.2008

This morning we woke early to get down and watch spenny (Michael Spencer) surf, the waves were really difficult and hard to surf, spence got a really good wave and smashed a couple of backhand blasts, but fell victim to lack of a second wave and lost.

Few waves... but still shitty

posted by sedz on Sun 20.07.2008

California in the summer is by no means known for good waves. the waves normally come from the south in lines as straight as a die and just close out, we tried having a little surf in the 3 foot closeouts but it didn’t really give us a chance to unleash anything to spectacular.. It was still cool to check out the U.S open contest site and get a feel for the waves we were going to have to put up with in our heats.

South Aus and New Caledonia perfection! By Dean Brady

posted by sedz on Sun 06.07.2008

The last few weeks i've been flat out. I went to Streaky Bay South Oz with my mates Paul and Murrey Antonieff. They've got a friend who lives there and we went and spent a week with him. He's on to all the waves up and down the coast and has a four wheel drive and a ski so we could pretty much get anywhere. Some of the waves are so fun but it's that sharky you'd want a ski running the whole time you were out. I've never been so freaked out by sharks before. We surfed one bombie about a kilometre out and the waves were big and perfect.

waking up at 10 am blurry eyed and a little dizzy from all the drugs i had been given to ease the pain from the night before i sit on the deck and watch perfect 4-6 foot waves peeling down the reef with my mates all going mad on them, The hardest thing to do is to book myself on a flight out of paradise for tonight, As Melling and the boys helped pack my bags, it was time to crack one last beer with the boys and tell a few good stories before i make my journey back home to the comfort of my own home and to get started on my shoulder rehab so i can get back to work and carry on with the job at

Today was a pretty cruisy day for most of us, as none of us had heats in the event till tomorrow and the waves weren’t really too epic, so we hooked up the speakers to the roof of the boat got our portable mixers out and started to DJ on the roof of the boat, it was like a small rave in the middle of the ocean, we had techno pumping and mates off other boats were coming over to our boat to go mad to some chronic beats.
it was epic.

The whole reason for our trip to the maldives was for a 6 Star Prime WQS at a world class wave called Pasta Point, all of us vying to get some valuable points so that we can make the elusive World Championship Tour.
