Empowered Surfboards

Whether it's a twin fin fish you're after, or something even more out of the ordinary, Mike Richmond is the man to shape your next board. Hailing from the Northern beaches in Sydney, and getting hooked up with the right people, has given Mike a unique chance to learning the ropes about board design, and what works in which conditions.

A surfer of almost 25 years himself, Mike has been shaping on his own for 5 years, and has shaped for some of the big Sydney names, and has also been lucky enough to hang with, and pick up pointers off shaping masters like, Maurice Cole, Greg Webber, James ‘Chilli' Cheal, and board design guru, Derek Hynd, who Mike notes as one of his biggest influences.

Mike will shape a conventional board, but
prefers to experiment and continue to push the boundaries of board design. So let Mike Richmond help you find another realm in your surfing, at this price your bank account will be as stoked as your bound to be!
