Hailing from the Gold Coast, Stuart Smith is one of Australias top shapers. His label Stuart surfboards was established in 1984, and has been goin strong ever since, making Stuart surfboards one of the most trusted labels getting around on the Gold coast today!

Stuart is an experienced surfer who has travelled the world over, making his knowledge when it comes to boards and waves second to none. Stuart concentrates on three different types of boards, the fish [for small waves], the all rounder [2 to 6 foot], and the gun [big waves].

Living only 100 metres from the beach, and 2km from Burleigh allows Stuart to refine his designs on a regular basis.Stuart has shaped for pro surfers in the past such as Margo' Brenden Margieson and 'Noodles' Nathan Webster, with his more recent team including Aussie shredders Leigh Sedley, James Lewis and Adam bennets!
