The run down from Stuart Surfboards
Had a good little business trip down to the Gold Coast the other day, for those that don't know my business partner Leigh Sedley has been living in California for the best part of a year, and he's back now for a few months, and we're on the campaign trail making the site more user friendly and upping the resources to remain fresh and more helpful to the crew!

The Burleigh Breaka pro
Well done Taj Burrow taking out the Breaka Burleigh Pro on sunday in shoulder height, fun rights on Sunday arvy at the famed point, I'm sure the beer flowed and the cas got a going over Sunday night!
TWS's own Leigh Sedley was in the contest, as well as most of the crew, Micheal Spencer, Luke Cheadle, Mitch Coleborn, the usual suspects, and the only good thing to come of the boys not doing well, was the fact that the stars aligned for a heap of fun Saturday night, A big part of why i wasn't at the final Sunday and opted to watch it from the comfort of Baz's Air con unit in Cooly!

Michael Spencers Photo Blog
Alot of you might know Michael Spencer as the cool cat pro surfer from Newcastle who does big punts, dresses cool and goes mad on the decks to serious techno music, but the man of many talents also runs a cool little blog called www.lensflareloveaffair.tumblr.com/ it's mainly a photo blog that Spence keeps quite updated with new photos he's taken of random shit around his home town, with his growing collection of cameras. here are a few photos weve taken off his blog but make sure you get off facebook and take a decent look at his whole blog.
Extended Classified ad Who wants Mitch coleborn's board?
Got one of Coleborn's sticks that i reckon some of the crew might be interested in, If i wasn't 6'0 tall and about 30 kg too heavy i would be flaring on the thing my self!
Tell ya's all what, if you can muster up a ten board order through us here at TWS between you and ya mates, i'l send Mitch's raft along with it! Could be interesting trying to work out who get's it, big group game of paper, scissors should do the trick! Otherwise $300 would get you out of trouble! Get in touch with me here on 0431 197 365

Summer and Bluebottles...
Here is a little pic of my bluebottle sting i got out Kawana Beach today..
The waves were about ankle height and i only paddled out because its was about 40degrees. Before i even got a chance to catch a wave a big old bluey wrapped around my entire stomach and down to my leg, my groin feels like someone has wacked it with a sledge hammer.

Queenslands own WQS
With all the amazing breaks Queensland has to offer, why has it taken so long to have more than one pro event on home turf? Well not anymore.. Starting next week Breaka Milk will host a 4 star World Qualifying Series event (WQS) event at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, and with US$85,000 Up for grabs, the event has attracted some of the biggest names in surfing, including current world champ Mick Fanning and previous world champs Andy Irons and Occy.
